When you click one of the links below, you will be presented
with a new window similar to the following:
Political
Boundaries| Fire
Districts| Public
Art| Parks
| Orthos|
On the right side of the window is the Legend. As you zoom
in, more layers appear on the map and on the legend. The parcels,
orthos, schools, and parks layers do not appear until user
zooms in quite close.
At the far left of the window is the Toolbar. Here
is an enlarged picture of the toolbar with an explanation
of each of the buttons (only buttons that are active will
be displayed):

Zoom
In button allows user to change the map extent
by zooming in closer. |
| Zoom
Out button allows user to change the map extent
by zooming out farther. |
| Home
button allows user to see the full extent of the
map. |
| Pan
button allows user to pan the map in a specified
direction. |
| Clear
button allows user to clear the currently selected
features and any output from the search, identify, or
find tools. |
| Search
button allows the user to zoom to the location
of a specific upc number or map index page.* |
| Identify
button allows user to identify attributes of a feature
on the map. Click on identify button, then on the feature.* |
| Address
button allows the user to zoom to a specific address
on the map. First click on button, then type address
in pop-up window.* |
| Print
button allows user to generate a full-page map
in another browser window suitable for printing. |
| Find
button allows user to find parks, public art, schools
or other text features depending on the web site. Click
on button, then fill in text in pop-up window.* |
* Zoom to the result of a SEARCH, FIND or ADDRESS, by
clicking on the number in the left column of the table. Some
tables contain links to photos or other web sites. These links
are underlined.

Advanced
button allows user to toggle between the Legend
and Layers. By going into the Layers, user may turn
on & off layers (such as map index) that do not normally
show. |
