Zoning, Building, Planning & Environmental Health Department requests approval of the Los Duranes Sector Development Plan.  This land use plan for the Los Duranes neighborhood is located generally to the north of I-40 nearby Rio Grande Boulevard extending west to the river.  The plan will establish neighborhood-specific zoning.  The new zoning consists of two new County zones.  Under these zones, the permissive and conditional land uses, and area and setback requirements of the existing Bernalillo County A-1 and R-1 zoning are retained.  The zoning then adds two new conditional uses: cluster housing and secondary dwelling unit.
