Bernalillo County Zoning, Building, Planning & Environmental Health Department requests approval of the Tijeras Canyon/Carnuel Plan.  The plan area is bounded on the west by the east boundary of the City of Albuquerque, to the east b the underpass of Highway 333 at I-40, to the south by the U.S. Forest Service lands near Coyote Springs, and to the north by the Sandia Wilderness.  This plan will serve as a guide to the area.  It examines the community’s concerns regarding future residential and commercial development, especially focusing on the need for water and wastewater infrastructure.

 

 

Other Matters

ZTC-70001

Bernalillo County Zoning, Building, Planning & Environmental Health Department requests approval of amendments to the Bernalillo County Zoning Ordinance.  These amendments include clean up to the existing language for clarity and consistency with similar regulations.  The most significant of the changes is to Section 20.5, Sector Development Plan, where the County seeks to bring current mail-out and notification requirements in line with applicable statutes outlined in the NM Zoning Act.
